Boston Consulting Group (BCG), in partnership with FORTUNE, analyzed more than 2,800 publicly traded companies with at least $5 billion in market value and 170 privately held firms with at least $1 billion in funding.
Each company is assigned a vitality score, driven by 24 predictive growth indicators organized across four key dimensions:

The final selection is then validated by FORTUNE’s editorial team to spotlight true market leaders.
