Former Cloudera Executive Joins SambaNova Systems

SambaNova Systems, a rapidly growing Silicon Valley-based startup company building the most advanced machine learning and analytics platforms, today announced Eli Collins has joined the company. Collins will contribute strategically to driving adoption of SambaNova Systems within the open source and commercial ecosystems.

Collins has been involved in numerous successful efforts to co-design software and hardware to establish new platforms for the enterprise. Most recently, Collins was Chief Technologist and Vice President at Cloudera where he oversaw development of their software platform for machine learning and data analytics.
