Over the last several months, we have seen so many developers build amazing applications and agents with SambaNova Cloud. But one of the biggest challenges we have heard from the community is the need for higher rate limits in order to scale their use cases. Starting today, we are excited to announce the launch of the SambaNova Cloud Developer Tier!
What is the Developer Tier?
The Developer Tier will allow you to pay for token consumption (see our pricing chart). At launch, all existing and new developers will be provided $5 of free credit available to consume that expires in 3 months to allow you to continue using the platform for free. That translates to over 30 million free tokens on Llama 8B!
On the Developer Tier, you will also have access to higher rate limits on the most popular models. We are increasing the requests per minute on all 70B and 405B models by 50%. For our 70B models, this means you can now generate over 10,000 tokens per minute.
Additionally, we have DOUBLED the requests per minute on Llama 8B. For even higher rate limits, connect with our team to discuss Managed Subscriptions. All of the latest limits including newly added requests per day can be found in our new documentation portal.
New Documentation Now Available
Many of you have been waiting for an updated version of our documentation and we are excited to announce a new home for our Documentation at docs.sambanova.ai/cloud. Our new documentation portal will make it much easier to read and consume updates on the platform in addition to more details about changes on the Developer Tier. For example, you can read more about the rate limits we mentioned above in the new documentation portal.
