Strategic Financial Initiatives Helmed by CFO Leadership to Further Strengthen Company’s Market Leadership
PALO ALTO, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–SambaNova Systems, the company delivering the industry’s most advanced systems platform to run artificial intelligence (AI) and data-intensive applications from the datacenter to the cloud and to the edge, today announced the appointment of Geoffrey Ribar as interim chief financial officer (CFO). Ribar brings extensive leadership experience in the computer software and semiconductor sector, and will further enhance the existing leadership team as SambaNova continues to gain traction in the marketplace with its disruptive technology.
As Ribar joins SambaNova, he will continue serving as director and board member for Macom and Everspin Technologies. Previously, Ribar served as a director of Aquantia Corporation and as CFO for a number of high tech companies, including Cadence Design Systems, Matrix Semiconductor, Inc., NVIDIA Corporation, SiRF Technology, Inc. and Telegent Systems. Ribar was also formerly VP and corporate controller at Advanced Micro Devices (AMD).
