Faster and Cheaper Deep Research on SambaNova Cloud
Deep Research Agents are all the rage in 2025! However, most solutions today are slow and require closed source models. At SambaNova, we believe there is an open source way to use Deep Research. Our teams have open sourced a new Deep Research Agentic implementation built in partnership with CrewAI. By leveraging open source models like DeepSeek R1 671B and Llama 3.3 70B, developers and enterprises can save money and improve the user experience with faster inference all at the same time. New Updates to SambaNova Cloud
DeepSeek R1 671B Now Available!
Last month, we launched DeepSeek R1 671B on SambaNova Cloud and we have been overwhelmed by the amount of interest. We are expanding capacity dramatically and now excited to make it Generally Available to all developers with 16K Context Lengths! Check out the benchmarks from Artificial Analysis and try it now with API integrations to all the major IDEs including Cline!

Say Hello to QwQ 32B
Alibaba QwQ 32B is NOW out of preview and LIVE on SambaNova Cloud. Running over 350 tokens/second, this reasoning model approaches the capabilities of DeepSeek R1 671B in accuracy but with a much smaller model. For use cases that still require higher accuracy, DeepSeek R1 will still remain the best model for developers to use but for those that need faster inference, QwQ will serve as a better substitute.
Additionally, we are also excited to announce the full context lengths for Llama 3.3 70B up to 128K context windows. This was a major request from the developer community to make these models more usable for RAG and Agentic workflows. If you are already using Llama 3.1 70B, try this update today! You can also provide more feedback to us at any time on our Community Forum on what else you need to make this model and others more usable for your development.
